Our Story
Established in 2021 by Ethan Fetzer, WACO FFA may be a newer chapter, but in just a few short years, we have made exciting advancements in agricultural education, leadership, and career development. Our program is built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a passion for agriculture, giving students opportunities to explore careers in the industry while developing essential leadership skills. Since its founding, WACO FFA has competed at the state level, with our Poultry Evaluation Team earning a spot at the Iowa FFA State Convention in 2023, and ending up being able to attend National Convention and Expo. Additionally, several students in our program have been awarded $1,000 scholarships to help further their education and careers in agriculture.

Looking ahead, WACO FFA is set to expand even further with the exciting addition of a new agricultural facility, made possible by the generosity of the Eichelburgers. This facility will provide students with more hands-on learning experiences in animal science, plant science, food science, and agribusiness leadership, ensuring that our chapter continues to grow and thrive. With this investment, WACO FFA will be able to offer advanced coursework, training opportunities, and community partnerships, setting up our members for success in agriculture and beyond.

Though we are a young chapter, WACO FFA is proving that hard work and commitment lead to success. With strong leadership, dedicated students, and a growing program, we are laying the groundwork for a lasting legacy in our school and community. The future of WACO FFA is bright, and we are just getting started!
